Pritchard Leisure’s two parks have been established with the ethos of “providing a place for people to enjoy the moments that matter most”. There are two holiday parks in north Wales; one where sea meets mountains and the other on the spectacular Llŷn Peninsula.

Introduction

Customer service is at the heart of family-run Pritchard Leisure, with a team ready to guide holiday home buyers through the purchasing process.

Pritchard Leisure, as a brand, was launched last year, although the company has owned and operated holiday parks for more than three decades, primarily in north Wales and always running the parks as a family. Charlie Everitt, Business Development Manager, explained, "the rebrand allows us to stand up to the growing number of large holiday park consortiums and also improves our business structure and efficiency, giving us a solid platform to grow and develop for the future, so that we can continue to deliver our high standards of service and quality products consistently."

Our focus is on providing affordable luxury products at both of our holiday parks – as a relatively small family-owned business we are able to provide a very personalised service, focused on quality not quantity and always putting our customers first.

Sarnfaen Holiday Park sits between the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and the Cardigan Bay coast. It’s at Tal-y-bont, four miles from Barmouth and 16 miles from Porthmadog.

This is very much a beach-focused and activity-based site, with its own leisure club and spa; it’s a stone’s throw from the beach. Here you can walk to local restaurants, cafés and other activities.

Walking, of course, is a top attraction in this region, with routes to suit all levels of ability, from strolls to challenging routes, along coastlines or within the mountains. The park is a five-minute walk from Tal-y-bont Beach (also known as Benar Beach), a stretch of fine sand backed by dunes. The dunes are home to wildflowers including orchids, and are a great place for birdwatching; ringed plovers and cormorants being two examples of what you can expect to see.

North Wales is famous for its castles, waiting to be explored, along with the beach, harbour and classic resort of Barmouth.

The park has a leisure club with a gym, a sauna, a steam room and a Jacuzzi, plus a 14-metre swimming pool with an adjacent toddler splash pool. There’s a café, offering breakfast, lunch and cakes. Dogs are catered for, with a dedicated exercising area.

Sarnfaen Holiday Park is open from 1 March to 7 January. Initial pitch licence agreements are 15 years for holiday homes and 30 years for lodges; these are then renewed on an annual basis.

Madryn Castle is on the Llŷn Peninsula. Pritchard Leisure describes the park as “a hidden gem; the epitome of understated luxury” and offering “a very exclusive and serene experience.”

The grounds are part of the estate of a nineteenth century castle. Pitches are of a generous size and are positioned to offer views towards the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia National Park. The park is surrounded by woodland and countryside.

The Llŷn Peninsula is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is known for its beautiful bays, sheltered coves and spectacular cliffs. Notable places include Aberdaron, an ancient fishing port with a lovely beach; the better-known Abersoch, a resort in miniature, and a centre for sailing; Nefyn, with a harbour and a maritime museum; and Pwllheli, arguably the best-known town on the Llŷn. It’s a true resort, a sailing centre, with a marina and a town that offers galleries and a weekly market.
