Tingdene Homes – The one-stop shop

d94587d6-574f-4b87-addf-77b72e4ebaaf
TINGDENE Homes, leading manufacturer of Park and Leisure Homes, has been in business for 39 years and has a broad range of experience in providing customers with both a quality built home and excellence of service. It prides itself on providing new benchmarks in modular construction year on year, developed by a young, enthusiastic management team whose ethos is based on having the customer at the heart of its operations.

The Tingdene range

The design team has developed inno-vative homes that reflect customers’ requirements – some modern and contemporary, some with a traditional feel like the Deene Cottage. Some models have a study, many have en-suite facilities, others feature a utility room – the choice is yours. From a top of the range luxurious park home to a more cost-conscious home, Tingdene has something to suit all budgets, tastes and styles. Every model, however, has been designed with attention to detail to ensure the customer has a home they can enjoy living in for many years to come.

All homes are fully furnished, double glazed and centrally heated, and the new Interior Design packages offer customers luxurious surroundings. Tingdene’s Interior Design Area at its Wellingborough Exhibition Centre displays the company’s range of curtains, carpets, worktops and other furnishings, allowing customers to view the options in comfortable surroundings as they go through their requirements with a sales advisor.

The park home range offers 12 models to choose from, with around 100 floor plan layouts and, if that is not enough, there are also 10 leisure lodges. Models within the park home range are very often selected for leisure home purposes and can be log clad to suit. The leisure lodges can likewise be given a roughcast finish should customers wish.

Three innovative new homes have been launched over the past year. In July the Semi-detached Home was introduced, pro-viding two homes within one building, ideal for families wishing to live close by but with some privacy in their own home.

In October came the Mackworth Lodge VT, a two storey single park home – an amazing, stylish home with fully glazed doors from the bedroom leading to a balcony area. This is replicated in the lounge, ideal for creating a patio area from which to enjoy summer days.

Finally, The Warreners Lodge was launched into the Leisure Range in February at the National Boat, Caravan & Outdoor Show. The response has been overwhelming, though that should not have been a surprise since it offers high vaulted ceilings, an open plan modern living area, two double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities, and the feel and look of a barn conversion. This home with its touch of luxury is one that you will not want to leave for long.

Tingdene exhibition centre

In 1984 Tingdene set up their permanent Exhibition Centre in Wellingborough, enabling customers to view show homes in comfortable surroundings, without pressure. Today the centre has expanded to accommodate up to 10 show homes and illustrates the company’s commitment to provide customers with the best available assistance in understanding the park and leisure home industry.

A visit to the Exhibition Centre is a must for any- one considering the park home or leisure lifestyle and is a one-stop-shop for their needs. You can find out more about the homes by talking to a sales advisor who will guide you through how you can design a home to suit your personal needs and even take a tour of the factory to see homes under construction, an excellent insight into how your home will go through the process from start to finish.

Locate-a-park, Tingdene’s in-house estate agency, will help you find your ideal location, making your move into your new home an easy process. Locate-a-park is continually in contact with developments around the UK so that it has all information to hand regarding plots available and show homes for sale. It is therefore in an excellent position to help and advise you. The Locate-a-park ad- visers will be happy to make phone calls on your behalf to park owners, making ap- pointments for you should you wish.  Effectively they will work with you as your agent, but without the cost implications you face with normal estate agencies. They can also advise you on the Home Exchange Scheme and finance.

The Home Exchange is an excellent way to help you sell your property quicker and move into a new park home without hassle. Tingdene works with an associate com-pany to provide this service and will work with you to ensure that the process is kept to a minimum.

We also work with a local company to provide financial advice for those that require it, whether customers are looking to support their purchase of a park or a leisure home.

Around the Exhibition Centre you will find plenty of display boards and literature on park developments, including Tingdene’s own estates. Tingdene’s park divisions jointly own/manage 39 developments around the country and choosing a Tingdene Park provides the same service and guarantees that apply to choosing a Tingdene home – it’s well worth finding out more to see if there are any plots or show homes available. Tingdene’s parks are developed to a high standard and monitored on a weekly basis to ensure that residents are happy within their chosen park for many years to come.

Over the coming months you will see many changes to Tingdene’s Exhibition Centre as a brand new frontage and reception area are created. The extension will  incorporate additional offices, confer-ence facilities and a coffee shop that will be ideal for visitors who have travelled some distance.
