Woodside Park, Bedfordshire

e22901a1-ab51-4dc5-b673-a95253e675af
THE park is surrounded by attractive woodlands and countryside, and lies close to beautiful Dunstable Downs and renowned Whipsnade Zoo. The Ml passes within five miles of the park, giving excellent access to London and the Midlands.

The usual village shops are available for most day-to-day needs, not only in Woodside, but also in the neighbouring villages of Slip End, Caddington and Markyate. A regular bus service to Luton gives access to Arndale shopping centre and other amenities.

Woodside is a well established park with recreational areas and ample car parking. Deliveries of dairy products and newspapers are made regularly. The presence of a resident park warden ensures peace of mind and security.

Acres of space can be enjoyed on Dunstable Downs, with fabulous views over the Vale of Aylesbury and along the Chiltern Ridge. Dunstable Downs is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a kite-flying hotspot. Chalk grassland, rich in wildlife, provides prime walking country.

Relax and enjoy the delights of Aylesbury Vale, over 300 square miles of rolling north Buckinghamshire countryside. The Vale is blessed with enchanting villages with friendly country pubs, timeless thatched cottages and charming teashops alongside bustling little market towns such as Buckingham, nestling neatly on the River Ouse and Aylesbury.

The Vale of Aylesbury is home to the influential Rothschild family. Their legacy remains with a number of family houses still open to the public, including the magnificent French Renaissance style chateau, Waddesdon Manor.

Other gems nestled within the Vale include the magical Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery in Aylesbury, stunning landscape gardens at Stowe, family fun at the Bucks Railway Centre, and Silverstone, the world-famous home of British motor racing.

A 6.5-mile circular walk can be enjoyed from the Chilterns Gateway Centre across Dunstable Downs chalk grassland. The route passes through the ancient village of Totternhoe.

If you enjoy animals, then Whipsnade Zoo is set in 600 spectacular acres of rolling Chiltern hills, where you can enjoy the freedom of exploration.
