The first in Europe – Atlantic Forest Park

c3b449f6-04ac-47a1-8824-157b55ec2fa0
IMAGINE a home of the best quality, built to the highest standards, set in beautiful forest surroundings in a warm sunny climate and near fantastic beaches. Picture this home built of beautiful timber, with thick insulated walls and eco-friendly features.

Well, the image you’ve conjured up is becoming reality with the siting of a new eco-friendly timber leisure lodge on Atlantic Forest Park.

Atlantic Parks is throwing aside the old and embracing the latest technology with the construction of this new range of eco-friendly timber lodges in Spain.

Spain is already a leader in Europe in the quest for renewable energy and climate friendly technology – and the government there offers a 40% subsidy on solar and other renewable power sources. This means that being eco-friendly doesn’t cost the earth.

Atlantic Parks has taken this as inspiration to produce some amazing homes at fantastic prices. These lodges are built to the highest standard and come with a 10 year guarantee. The thick double glazing and specially constructed walls mean that the home stays warm in winter and cool in summer.

Discover the park

These leisure lodges are the first homes of their kind in Spain, and possibly in Europe; they are the future of tourism. Here we have exclusive pictures of them being built in their natural surroundings. They are set in the wonderful countryside of the forest while still only 10 minutes from the beach at the nearby resort of Barbate.

Atlantic Forest Park is situated on the Costa de la Luz (the Coast of Light) in southern Spain, within easy reach of Cadiz, Jerez and Seville, with Gibraltar, and even the Med hot spots of Marbella and Malaga, not far away. All plot on the park are different, each with fine views.

Three-day Discovery Breaks are available at £50 per person in a 4-person lodge, plus airport transfer (Jerez and Gibraltar £50, Malaga and Seville £75) – just book your flights then call Atlantic Parks to arrange your accommodation.

Guilt-free

In addition to standard features you can choose to have water catchment and recycling, solar and wind generated power, as well as a ground source heat pump. All of this means that you can run your home with almost no energy bills.

The technology of the construction means that the lodge walls have better insulating qualities than one meter thickness of regular stone or concrete construction. Add to this the ethically sourced timber and the fact that for every lodge built 16 trees are planted and you have the lowest carbon footprint possible.

You need never feel guilty about flying off to the sun again. You can relax in the knowledge that your luxurious home is as ethical as the Green Party. And if that never bothered you anyway, you can be smug about the low price and tiny running costs.
