NESTLING on the slopes of ancient woodland, Hill of Oaks offers exclusive lake frontage for more than one kilometre along the shore of Lake Windermere. The park is family orientated, with well laid-out nature walks where nature lovers can seek out the wildlife. There is also a natural secure play area for younger visitors.

The park offers exclusive sites for holiday homes and lodges. Hill of Oaks is conservation orientated, with managed woodlands providing a natural environment for a rich biodiversity of animals, birds, flora and fauna.

As a result of our dedication to the environment, and ongoing efforts towards sustainable tourism practices, we continue to be awarded 5-star status by the English Tourism Council, and the highest conservation accolade of Gold by the David Bellamy Conservation Awards, for the protection of plant and animal habitats through to the efficient use of energy and recycling.

We offer fully serviced holiday homes and lodges that are laid out within the woodlands, as well as an excellent centrally located touring area. All our facilities are maintained to a high standard. With five jetties to choose from, boat launching and access to watersport activities as well as our nature walks, we provide one of the most idyllic locations to holiday within the Lake District National Park.
