Club announces Design Awards 2022 winners

The winners of the Caravan and Motorhome Club's Motorhome and Campervan Design Awards have been revealed

Seventy-two campervans and motorhomes were submitted for the awards - which is now its 23rd year - with judging taking place at the recent Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC, plus desktop assessment prior to inspecting the vehicles at the show.

Although not driven by the judges, the vehicles are assessed on electrics and safety, comfort, kitchens/washrooms, air-conditioning, heating and ventilation systems, technical specification and stowage. The judges also consider seating positions, handbrake positions, visibility, safety whilst travelling in the habitation area, front seat comfort and driver ergonomics. 

The winners in each of the categories are:

• Campervans under 5 metres: Auto-Sleeper Ford Air Campervan
• Campervans over 5 metres: Three Bridge Tourer
• Van Conversions with a rising or pop top roof under 6 metres: Adria Twin Sports 600 SPB
• Van Conversions with a rising or pop top roof over 6 metres: Three Bridge Trek
• Van Conversions with a fixed roof under 6 metres: RP Motorhomes Exclusive Twin Rebel AWD
• Van Conversions with a fixed roof over 6 metres: WildAx Citroën Solaris XL
• Two-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes: Adria Compact Supreme DL
• Up to Four-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes under 7 metres: Chausson Ford 660 EXCLUSIVE LINE
• Up to Four-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes over 7 metres: Adria Coral Supreme 670 DL
• Up to Six-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes under 8 metres: Rimor Ford Evo 77 Plus
• Up to Six-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes over 8 metres: Bailey Autograph 81-6
• A Class under 7 metres: Mobilvetta Tekno Line K-Yacht 59
• A Class 7-8 metres: Adria Sonic Supreme 700 DL
• A Class over 8 metres: Frankia I 8400 Plus Platin
