Coachman motorhomes: 2026 essential guide
Coachman's motorhome range expands in 2026 to include Sportivo as a 3,500kg model on Mercedes, the flagship Travel Master (also with Mercedes power) and its first Fiat-based motorhomes, the Avventura.
Coachman motorhomes
Coachman’s journey began in 1986 with its first handbuilt caravan in Hull, East Yorkshire. Its first motorhome arrived in 2022 – built at the Kabe factory in Sweden, it had all the winterisation you expect of a Scandinavian vehicle. Coachman has 15 dealers spread around the UK.

Avventura
Coachman’s first Fiat Ducato-based motorhome range, the new Avventura, comes with a choice of an island bed (545) or twin single beds (565). Both are 4,500kg motorhomes, measuring just under 8m long and built on a Fiat Al-Ko chassis with the 180hp engine and eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
They come with a high spec, including alloy wheels, uConnect 10in touchscreen, reversing camera, automatic wipers and electric parking brake.
Like the Sportivo and Travel Master, the Avventura motorhomes are UK-handed – despite being built in Sweden – with a nearside habitation door, but these Fiat-based models have a different look inside, inspired by Coachman’s flagship Lusso caravans, which are built in Hull.
The Avventura models have an Alde wet central heating system and heated tanks. A new feature is the dropped floor in the garage to give the locker increased headroom for bicycles (now up to 1.09m).
Both models have a large front lounge with side settees featuring a new upholstery style and seat cushions. It features a multi-directional table, which also folds for convenience.
Underneath each sofa is a foldaway Aguti travel seat, while extra berths are available by converting the lounge seats into a transverse double bed.
The L-shaped kitchen features a composite worktop with integrated sink cover, drawers with a travel lock mechanism and waste bins. Cooking is on a two-burner hob or in the Thetford gas oven or high-level Dometic microwave. The central washroom is generous in size with the toilet area on the nearside and the shower cubicle on the offside.
The main cubicle door closes off the back of the motorhome to provide an en suite set-up, while sliding doors shut off the bedroom for privacy.
Key features
- Built on an Al-Ko chassis
- Alde wet central heating and hotwater system
- Large rear garage offering lots of storage

Sportivo
The Sportivo is on a Mercedes chassis but this 7.44m motorhome combines the Sprinter cab with a licence-friendly 3,500kg gross weight. For 2026, the lounge has been redesigned to create a pure two-berth motorhome.
The new version retains the rear single beds (1.95m long), but swaps the previous half-dinette for two side-facing seats and a more open feeling up front, where headroom is generous at up to 2.08m.
The free-standing table is removable and stores under the offside settee.
Centrally, the Sportivo kitchen has a two-burner hob, under-counter Thetford oven and a new slimline 142-litre fridge with automatic energy selection.
Opposite, the washroom is all in one zone but folding screens create a semi-separate shower.
The rear beds sit over a garage with full-sized doors on either side, but the real USP of the Sportivo is its Scandinavian level of winterisation, with heated tanks, Alde wet central heating and a heated floor.
Key features
- New matt black finish furniture handles
- New Thetford oven with dual-fuel hob
- Smart D touchscreen control panel

Travel Master
The original Coachman motorhome and the flagship of the range, the Travel Master is an 8.39m vehicle built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Al-Ko chassis, 170hp motor and nine-speed automatic gearbox.
The Travel Master 545 won the Luxury Motorhome of the Year award on its debut in 2022.
For 2026, it gets even better with its new exterior sunroof surround and Atlas wood colour scheme, while retaining the build quality and features that took it to the top of its class.
Choose from the 545’s island bed layout or the 565’s twin singles, each with a garage below the bedroom.
Up front both layouts have a side sofa lounge that can cleverly adapt to offer two forward-facing travel seats, while above is an electric drop-down double bed.
But the real USP of the Travel Master is that it’s built by Swedes to cope with the harshest of Scandinavian winters – few motorhomes at any price are as well-equipped to cope with the cold.
Key features
- 140W solar panel including intelligent battery sensor (IBS)
- Electrically operated drop-down bed above the front lounge
- New Atlas wood colour scheme
