Two Chimneys Caravan Park

7c5687c6-a481-4ab6-a611-5bf3f9c0fdba
Featuring 240 touring pitches on a 40-acre flat site in a rural part of Kent, and just two miles from the coast. Extensively improved, the site offers recently-built toilet blocks and a laundrette, as well as a funky telescopic-roofed swimming pool (on hot days it’s like being in an outdoor pool).

The site also has a licensed clubhouse, shop, takeaway, children’s play areas and a tennis court. Three grades of pitch are offered ranging from basic camping pitches to hardstandings with electric, water and drainage. Visit historical Canterbury and the sandy beaches of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.

The Kent coastline has long been a popular holiday destination and the beaches of Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs are sandy, family friendly summer holiday destinations for mums and dads with kids to keep happy during the summer break. Two Chimneys Caravan and Camping Park is located just a couple of minutes drive from this coast (and within easy driving distance of historic Canterbury as well!).

The site is an award winning family-run one and is set in lovely flat countryside and covers forty acres of land. The camping areas are well laid out and organised and as the site has undergone a lot of development and improvement schemes over the past few years, the toilet and shower facilities (including the launderette) are neat, clean and modern and are more than adequate for anyone camping here and showers are free. It’s worth noting that the site will not allow gazebos to be erected by tents and does not take dogs so the pooch will have to stay with friends or go into kennels for the duration of your stay, but this is a small price to pay for such an exceptionally located and equipped venue.

The kids will love it here – there are decent play areas for them and the site has an indoor/outdoor swimming pool (heated) that has a telescopic glass roof for opening it to the sun when the weather permits. It is a good size and although, like all pools on family friendly sites, it can get busy, it is large enough to accommodate a lot of people without feeling two overcrowded. For older kids (and keen and sporty adults) there is a tennis court and an arcade and pool table. To feed the little dears there is take away food to be had and an on-site shop. The site also has static vans and there is a licensed club for the evenings.

This is a great venue with plenty to keep the kids happy, plenty to do at night - and don’t forget, those beaches are close enough to go for a morning or afternoon and still have plenty of time to enjoy all the site has to offer.
