Eastham Hall Caravan Park

07640b8d-428e-489c-9bf6-0e641ef420b3
SET near the Lancashire coast close to the town of Lytham St Annes, this family-owned site offers 50 pitches with electric hook-ups. Eight of these are full service and additionally boast hardstandings, plus fresh and waste water connections. The site also has several holiday homes available for hire.

On site practicalities include a toilet block with showers, hairdryers, shaver points and a laundry room. Children have a play area to romp around in and there's also an on-site shop that offers locally-baked bread, milk, local farm eggs and other groceries.

For a more extensive shop you'll need to head to the attractive Victorian town of Lytham itself - which is a five-minute trip by car or motorhome or a 20-minute walk. As the terrain is flat it's also ideal for cycling. At Lytham you'll find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. For sport it also offers several golf courses and many lesiure facilities.

Lytham Green is also nearby and offers a beautifully-preserved windmill, as well as bracing walks along the coast. Between St Annes and Blackpool you'll also find a wide stretch of sandy beach to enjoy. The seaside dleight of Blackpool are numerous and include the famous tower, the trams on the seafront and - much beloved by children and adults alike - the Pleasure Beach fun park.

The site is actually six miles away from Blackpool, with the pretty village of Wrea Green being just 2.5 miles away. The winner of Lancashire's Best Kept village in 2001 and centred around a large village green with a duck pond (know as The Dub) you'll find tearooms, restaurants and pubs here.
