Waveney River Centre

a1bc28a9-516f-4b01-acf8-ff2340e8b46c
THE Broads is Britain’s magical waterland, a uniquely beautiful environment shaped by people working hand-in-hand with nature over thousands of years. England’s largest protected wetland has over 125 miles of enchanting waterways.

Waveney River Centre is the Broads’ multi-award-winning holiday park and marina, set in the beautiful surroundings of South Norfolk’s Waveney Valley, with stunning south and west-facing views across marshes and river.

The park is a wildlife haven, where you can spend hours watching birds, insects and other wildlife from the peace and quiet of your lodge balcony, or venture further along the river by day cruiser or canoe where you might even spot an otter.

The lodges are located in peaceful surroundings with beautiful south-facing views across the marshes – whilst still being within a moment’s walk of the on-site facilities, which include a family-friendly pub, indoor heated swimming pool and café, boat moorings, launderette, and a spacious and well-stocked shop.

The kids can work off their energy in the playground with its adventure tower and balance trail; get in touch with nature in the wildlife garden; or play in the den-building area.

The Broads offers visitors an experience unlike any other, both on its rivers and lakes – the ‘broads’ – and alongside them, on peaceful paths and cycleways, and in the unspoiled villages and
market towns that make up the tapestry of this wonderful area.

Waveney River Centre was a triple winner at the 2010 EDP Norfolk Tourism Awards for Customer Care, Best Holiday Park and Best Broads Holiday Experience. In 2009 and 2010 they received David Bellamy’s Gold Conservation accolade, and were winners in the 2010 Practical Boat Owner Green Awards for Best Service & Support.
