Caravanners welcome at the 2025 GWCT Scottish Game Fair
GWCT Scottish Game Fair returns to Scone Palace for 2025
Caravanners planning a summer stay in Scotland may want to circle the weekend of 4-6 July, as the GWCT Scottish Game Fair returns to Scone Palace, Perthshire.
Blending Scotland’s countryside traditions with family-friendly fun, the event offers a unique outdoor experience – and crucially, offers good-value valued touring pitches through the weekend.
What to expect
Caravan pitch passes are available from Thursday to Monday, making it easy to turn a visit into a full weekend escape. The pitches offer an accessible base just a short walk from the event’s activities and live entertainment.
This year’s Game Fair features a packed programme that reflects Scotland’s rural heritage. Alongside popular events such as working dog demonstrations, fishing and shooting showcases and field sports displays, there’s also a live cooking theatre, with appearances from two of Scotland’s most recognisable cooking names: Tom Kitchin, who will headline on Friday and Tony Singh MBE, taking to the Highland Firecage Kitchen on Saturday.
For music lovers in search of some californication, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers make a return with a headline set on Saturday evening, promising a high-energy performance with their blend of bagpipes and rock 'n' roll.
Families can also expect a broader offering this year, with wildlife encounters, countryside crafts and hands-on activities designed to appeal to all ages.
Tickets and camping passes are available now via the event’s official website.
