Caravan and Motorhome Club announces campsite redevelopments for 2025 and 2026
The Caravan and Motorhome Club has announced a series of campsite redevelopments, with several locations reopening in 2025 and 2026 following upgrades to facilities. The improvements include new accommodation options, additional touring pitches, and eco-friendly enhancements.
Campsites reopening in 2025
Haycraft Club Campsite, Dorset
Reopened on 28 February, 2025, this site on the Isle of Purbeck now features a new facilities block with solar panels, serviced pitches, a dog and bike wash, and electric vehicle charging points. It remains a popular base for visitors exploring the Jurassic Coast.
Lady Margaret’s Park Club Campsite, Wrexham
From Easter 2025, this Chirk-based campsite will offer extra touring pitches. A new Experience Freedom village is set to open by summer, providing glamping pods, cabins and safari tents for those looking for alternative accommodation.
Sandringham Club Campsite, Norfolk
Located on the Royal Estate, this campsite will reopen in mid-July 2025 with upgraded facilities, a new play area, and an Experience Freedom village with 15 luxury safari tents.
Bunree Club Campsite, Scotland
On the shores of Loch Linnhe, Bunree is set to reopen in August 2025. The campsite will benefit from improved pitches, a refurbished amenities block, and new electric vehicle charging points.
Abbey Wood Club Campsite, London, & Edinburgh Club Campsite
Both sites remain open while undergoing phased improvements in 2025.
2026 developments
Bridport Bingham Grange Club Campsite, Dorset
Expected to reopen in 2026, this campsite will see the addition of a new café, upgraded facilities and new pitches. A new Experience Freedom village will also be introduced, featuring glamping pods, cabins, and safari tents.
Further redevelopment projects are planned for the 2025/26 period, subject to planning approval. The upgrades are part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s ongoing investment in its UK sites, responding to increasing demand for high-quality touring and glamping facilities.
