Missed out on Glastonbury? Here are some top UK festivals
2025 UK festivals for caravanners
If, like me, you didn’t get a Glastonbury ticket this year, don’t panic.
The UK’s summer calendar is brimming with festivals that are not only fantastic in their own right, but also welcome caravans, offering the freedom to enjoy live music, family fun and the great outdoors from the comfort of your tourer.
Here’s your essential guide to the top caravan-friendly festivals for summer 2025.
Great British Beer Festival, 5-9 August, NEC Birmingham
The UK's biggest beer celebration pours its way into Birmingham with over 500 ales, ciders and perries.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club will host a pop-up campsite, complete with 24-hour security and modern facilities – perfect for those who like their festivals served with a side of beer.
Together Again Festival, 25-27 July, Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire
This family-friendly festival is a newcomer to the scene but brings a strong mix of music, arts and culture in the picturesque grounds of Bolesworth Castle.
A dedicated area for caravans makes it a relaxing choice for those wanting to pitch up for the weekend.
15-17 August, Three Counties Showground, Malvern
The Western Motorhome & Campervan Show
If you’re a country music fan, this is the show for you.
You will find live music day and night, as well as linedancing tuition and The Lonestar Old West Reenactment Group.
Attendees should expect three music venues, over 450 leisure vehicles on display, live acts and thousands of fellow campers.
Pitches include four nights of entertainment and start at just £85 in advance.
Wickham Festival, 31 July-3 August, Hampshire
Set in the scenic village of Wickham, this is a more chilled-out event which offers a solid line-up of music, arts and activities.
With four stages and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a favourite for caravan owners looking for a slower-paced weekend – but with an artistic twist.
Boomtown Fair, 6-10 August, South Downs National Park
One of the UK’s most immersive festivals.
Boomtown is a city of music, theatre and storytelling with eight themed districts and is self described as being "set in a parallel world".
Caravan passes are a must to access the pitches, so be sure to check on availability.
18-20 July, Norfolk Showground
The Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show
A show with everything to offer – vehicle sales, accessories, entertainment and expert talks.
This year you're in for a treat, as it introduces a live theatre, cooking demos and hands-on sessions, plus evening shows and family-friendly activities.
Alongside these sessions, you’ll find fun activities like bingo, archery, axe throwing and exclusive day trips to Norwich city centre, the Norfolk Broads and Holkham.
Wilderness Festival, 31 July-3 August, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire
Presented By Audi, Wilderness Festival blends electric music with a hybrid of mindful outdoor activities and of course, world-class dining.
You can even rent an Airstream directly with Wilderness, with prices starting from £4,528.25
Caravans are welcomed – but booking early is crucial to secure the right pass for your pitch.
Camp Bestival, 31 July–3 August, Lulworth Castle, Dorset
Presented by Debenams and designed by families, for families.
Camp Bestival is a lively blend of music, circus acts and kid-friendly entertainment – also on offer are several wellness experiences, such as yoga, massages, etc.
