Carado to launch new 4x4 go-anywhere campervan
News
4x4 campervans seem to be all the rage at the moment. That idea of a go-anywhere home on wheels is like catnip to aspiring vanlifers and those looking for off-grid adventures.
The latest manufacturer to enter this market is Carado with its new CV595. The model is based on the all-wheel drive VW Crafter and comes in special X-Edition guise.
That means this 5.98m campervan has the 163hp engine with automatic gearbox as standard, which should suit make driving on most roads effortless.
If you wanted to get more off-the-beaten track, optional Loder off-road tyres are recommended.
Inside a modern grey floor contrasts with what Carado calls a Forest Shadow furniture and smart wood accents.
The layout has a large transverse double bed at the rear with pods to help extend the bed length in the narrow Crafter.
A sliding door allows the bedroom and living areas to be separated.
The folding door for the washroom is a great feature, while the basin folds away to create more shower room.
The half dinette and swivel cab seats offer belts for four and the kitchen is located by the side sliding door. Overhead lockers have integrated lighting, and there is 1.98m headroom throughout.
More details and prices will be announced over the next few weeks, so follow Carado on Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates.
