Two weddings at Newbury!

Saturday 19^th May has been in the headlines for a few weeks now surrounding one hot topic – A royal wedding! But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not the only couple to be tying the knot on the 19^th!

Our 2018 Southern Motorhome show will see first-hand, the celebrations of newlyweds John and Val as they dance the night away in the audience of our Saturday night headline entertainment.

Having been together for 15 years, John and Val will be rallying amongst fellow members of the Thames Valley Tin Tenters (TVTT). Heading off-site on Saturday afternoon for an official ceremony, they will then return to the Showground as Mr & Mrs to enjoy an evening of performances from The Animals III, The Dakotas, and The Stones.

Daytime Entertainment

Across the weekend there will be a variety of daytime entertainment to get involved in. Josh Doyle will be entertaining his audience with tributes to the Shadows, as well as a dog show and if you’re feeling lucky, a game of bingo!

As if all of that wasn’t enough, we will also be celebrating the Royal Wedding, and therefore the Ceremony will be live streamed from Windsor Castle in the Food Court Marquee from 11:45am-13:00pm. Following the ceremony, there will be a wedding hat competition. Be sure to make or decorate a hat shadowing the theme of the Royal Wedding and enter it into our best wedding hat competition.
