WildAx campervans achieve highest insulation rating
WildAx Motorhomes has been awarded the Grade Three Insulation Certificate - the highest insulation rating possible for a leisure vehicle. The classification comes after rigorous testing at the state-of-the-art Truma cold chamber facility, Derby, where the WildAx vehicle was subject to temperatures of -15°C for 10 hours.
In order to achieve Grade III (NCC EN 1646-1) classification, the interior temperature must rise to +20°C within four hours.
Duncan Wildman, MD of WildAx, said: “We are especially proud to achieve the Grade Three rating in only three hours and 21 minutes. We have promoted our ’vans as fully winterised for some time therefore it is great to be able to prove definitively that our level of insulation and winterisation is the best available in a van conversion.”
