Wellhouse Leisure campervans head for Ford Transit Show Live

All three Wellhouse Ford campervans on show at once

As part of the Ford ‘Transit Show Live’ event taking place over 10 days from 16 to 25 May, Wellhouse Leisure is taking all three of its latest Ford campervans – the Terrier, Terrier XL (high-top) and its new Connect LWB camping-car conversion - on a UK tour of 10 leading Ford Transit dealers, visiting one each day, starting in Scotland and ending in Norwich.

The line-up will include its new, two-berth Evie camping-car conversion of the Transit Connect LWB, which makes its debut at The National Motorhome Show in Peterborough from 17 to 19 April, plus the new Terrier XL with a long wheelbase and high-top roof which made its debut at February’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC, and of course, the original, award-winning Terrier with elevating roof, the first UK conversion of the new Ford Transit Custom, named The Campervan of the Year 2014.

The 10 day, Wellhouse tour starts in Scotland on Saturday 16 May and goes via Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Oxfordshire, South Wales, Hampshire, Kent, and Hertfordshire before finishing in Norwich on Monday 25 May. It will be visiting the following Ford dealers:

David Elliott, managing director of Wellhouse Leisure said, “Having launched two new Ford models this year, we thought this was a great opportunity to take our new three model Ford range on a nationwide tour of the UK to give people a great opportunity to see them side by side and decide which model suits their needs best.”

“Whether customers want a compact camping-car that’s small on the outside but big on the inside, a campervan to use as an everyday vehicle or the added space and toilet compartment of the Terrier XL model, or a versatile campervan with pop-up roof, our Ford-based model range now has something to suit everyone,” David continued.

All Wellhouse Ford Terrier models are produced at its factory in Shepley, near Huddersfield, and come with a choice of stylish interiors, and a kitchen including hob, sink and fridge. On the road prices range from £27,500 for the Evie with 93.7bhp, 1.6 TDCI engine, £39,500 for the Terrier Kombi S and £41,500 for the Terrier XL S model, both with the 123.2bhp, 2.2 TDCi engine.
