Weighbridge app for motorhome owners released

The first mobile guide to UK weighbridges for Apple’s iPhone has been released by Cambridge-based Appsherpas Ltd.
Called ‘Weighbridges’ the new iOS app allows motorhome owners to search for 500 weighbridges by name, location or even distance from their current location and display the results on the iPhone’s integrated map.Selecting a weighbridge displays opening times, weighbridge capacity and size as well as full contact details. Using one touch dialling allows the user to call the chosen location for advanced booking or just to check services.
All the weighbridges included provide public facilities to weigh your vehicle, many at no charge.
According to Appsherpas, more will be included as their details become available and weighbridge owners can add details of their own facilities online at www.trafficmediauk.com
