Warranty costs unveiled
Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) has released findings based on claims settled between June 2024 and May 2025.
The report brings to light the financial risks that come with owning a motorhome, particularly with the high-end models.

The most expensive payout during the period was £13,013.17 to replace the gearbox on a 2022 Adria motorhome. The second-highest came to £5,089.38 which covered a faulty heater fan motor and a new heating system ignitor in a 2018 Peugeot Boxer campervan. In the bronze medal position, £4,733.36 was paid out for habitation-related issues on a Carado motorhome.
The findings reflect how habitation issues are both expensive and the most frequently reported issues. The have an average claim of £651.18, topping the list of common problems ahead of distribution box failures (£818.90) and issues related to fridges (£749.07).
