What are the benefits of an A-class Globebus Advantage?
There’s actually a couple of big pluses when it comes to A-class motorhomes. That big windscreen can provide a better view of the road; the squarer shape from headlights to rear bumpers can actually be easier to pilot.
Then the insulation also stretches the full way around the body; metal low-profile cabs can be a cooler zone.
And because the cab area is wider, it makes the lounge feel so much more spacious. Finally, there’s those views out of that big panoramic windscreen once on site, really allowing you to take advantage of the amazing places you’ll be travelling to.
As with all A-class motorhomes, the double bed in the cab area means you get extra berths if you need them without sacrificing the lounge area. It’s a 1.85m by 1.50m size in the Globebus.

Why does a Globebus Active standout?
It’s a slightly narrower body, so that driving experience should be even easier, without impacting too much on interior space.
This is also a range of three more compact models; all are under 7m in length. At 2.81m high it’s a sensible height, too – falling under the 3m limit for French tolls (higher vehicles and those with multiple axles pay much more).
And as they are compact, it’s good to assume that they’ll offer a sensible payload when rated at 3.5 tonnes and so can be driven on the regular Category B licence.
And then you add in the extra spec that an Active model comes with and it’s all in all a great-value package – UK models often come with more kit that their European siblings, so these motorhomes are not likely to be lacking in much.
Globebus Active details & the layouts
The Active specification is the icing on the cake and is extensive. Just some of the features include:
While overhead ambient lighting is standard, Active models also get extra smart lighting around the window surrounds in the lounge, giving a much more premium feel. This is enhanced by the 75cm by 105cm opening rooflight above, too.
Satellite navigation and DAB+ is part of the Active spec, as is double-glazed flush-fitting windows and an Omnistor cassette awning. Sporty graphics and 16in alloy wheels make it look much more striking than standard models.
The smallest one

Under 6m long, this model is the baby of the A-class range. This layout, with a double beds running across the motorhome front and rear, really makes sense in an A-class as you can have a proper four-berth in a really compact space. Whether you want to travel with kids or grandkids, or just need your own sleeping space, this is a brilliant choice for those who don’t want a massive motorhome.
Single bed layout

Moving up to 6.6m in length, this has single beds in the rear instead of the transverse double. It has the same swivel wall washroom, too, to create a separate shower area. You’ll find handy wardrobes under each of the beds.
A bigger washroom

The largest model in the range is 6.95m long. It has single bed wardrobes but that extra length creates a better kitchen area and a larger washroom with a separate shower area. The rear can be closed off from the front providing privacy for those in the single bed sat the back.
