Two workshops recognised for high standard of work
Kirk Caravan Services and Kurt’s Mobile Caravan Services were both recognised for their high standards of work and customer service at the National Caravan Council 2024 Approved Workshop Scheme awards, which were sponsored by Engineer Insurance and Aftercare.

Approved Workshop Scheme Manager, Reece Wigmore said,
“The awards are really important because they celebrate the work carried out by companies within the Approved Workshop Scheme. The winners and finalists have to demonstrate hard work and adherence to high standards throughout the year to be in with a chance of taking the top position in the two categories.”
AWS Fixed Workshop of the Year 2024
Kirk Caravan Services
Based in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Kirk Caravan Services took the award, having been a member of the AWS since 2013, and an award finalist for the last two years.
AWS Mobile Workshop of the Year 2024
Kurt's Mobile Caravan Services
A member of the AWS for 17 years, Kurt's Mobile Caravan Services is based in Thirsk and was also a finalist for the two years prior.
A joint venture between the NCC, the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and the Camping and Caravanning Club, the Approved Workshop Scheme is considered the benchmark for motorhome and touring caravan servicing in the UK. As the only scheme supported by major UK manufacturers, it was set up to give users peace of mind that the technician working on their caravan or motorhome is qualified to the required standards. To be part of the scheme, each workshop must meet an industry code of practice, too.
The NCC selects its award winners based on a range of criteria, including customer reviews, votes, and the scheme's requirements.
