Top 10 motorhomes to see at the NEC February motorhome show

a09c0e54-da77-43fe-b7c2-1a53ab49e67d

Despite most new models for the 2017 season being launched at last October’s NEC motorhome show, there are still new launches to see at February’s show, which takes place on 21 to 26 February

On the Wednesday of the show, Warners Group Publications – the publisher of MMM magazine – will be hosting a special day. During Warners’ Wednesday you’ll be able to avail of a fantastic MMM subscription offer, which will see new subscribers receive a bundle of goodies.

The offer’s only available on the MMM stand – 4410.

As far as new vehicles are concerned, here are our top models to see:

  1. Auto Campers – stand 4230 – is likely to have its new Volkswagen T6 MRV at the show. It will also be exhibiting its new gas-free Classic model, available on a VW or Ford, plus, Auto Campers will have a new variation of its award-winning Day Van and, hopefully, it will be the first manufacturer to have an automatic Ford campervan on its stand.
  2. Adria – stand 3046 – will debut its new 8.80m-long, tag-axle Sonic Supreme 810 C with an electrically controlled, height-adjustable rear island bed and a host of other features befitting a flagship model.
  3. Auto-Sleepers – stand 3160 – will be showing its flagship model, the new Corinium RB, which is the British manufacturer’s first island bed motorhome. Well worth a look!
  4. Bailey – stand 2100 – will be showing off models from its latest Autograph range, although it has delayed showing the final member of the Autograph family, the 79-6G (this will now be shown at the October show). Despite this, it’s still well worth popping over to Bailey, especially to look at the 68-2, which will suit those moving up from a caravan as it has a familiar and comfortable rear lounge layout.
  5. Knaus motorhomes will be shown on the Lowdhams' stand (3050) where you will be able to see the brilliant Boxlife 600 on display. This excellent campervan was named 2016 Motorhome of the Year by MMM magazine, so pop over and see for yourself why it is so good!
  6. Marquis Lesiure – stand 3160 – will have a variety of a new models worth viewing, but we especially recommend look over the new A-class Mobilvetta – if you fancy enjoying life in an A-class but thought it was out of your budget, then think again as these models are surprisingly affordable yet still have that luxury feel and specification.
  7. Auto-Trail – stand 3020 – will have a range of coachbuilts and van conversions on display, including a host of Tributes, V-Lines, Imalas and Trackers. They’re all worth seeing, but if you only have time to view a couple of Auto-Trails, we recommend heading for the all-new Scout and Comanche S.
  8. Lunar – stand 3044 – will be showing off two models that are worth seeing – the new Roadstar TI and EL. If you fancy seeing another Lunar then head to Richard Baldwin Motorhomes – stand 4020 – which be showing the new Landstar RLS.
  9. Pilote – stand 3170 – will be showing its luxury Le Voyageur A-class motorhomes – and the 5-tonne LV8.5CL with its rear island bed and the twin single bed LV7.8GJF are both well worth a look. It will also have the very popular Pilote P650U on display, plus a collection of Pacific and Galaxy models.
  10. MMM magazine – stand 4410 – ok it’s not a motorhome but, if you’re thinking of buying a motorhome or campervan at the show, then pop along to the MMM magazine stand where, if you take advantage of a very attractive subscription offer, you’ll get a copy of Buying Your First Motorhome, which is packed with expert hints and tips to help you get the perfect motorhome for you!

And remember, if you’re unsure what motorhome will suit you, then head to the Experts’ Theatre where every day (and twice on Wednesday), MMM magazine’s Senior Road Tester, Dave Hurrell, will be sharing his advice and tips to help you make the right motorhome buying decision.

If you want more expert practical advice, as well as motorhome news and reviews, travel features and tech help, then MMM magazine, which has been Britain’s best-selling motorhome magazine every year for the past 51 years, is for you.
