New range of waterproof travel packs

The problem with backpacks and other rucksacks is that they take up quite a bit of room, never mind the weight, in your motorhome. Robens, the outdoor wear company, has a solution in the form of the Zip Dry Packs, UL Dry Packs and UL Day Packs. The key feature is that they squash down into a carrybag that is small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.

All are made from tough PU-coated Cordura ripstop nylon and come in three eye-catching contemporary colours: Burnt Orange, Dusty Blue and Light Olive. And all feature shoulder straps that can be adjusted for comfort.

Both Dry Pack models include a 12cm x 9cm compact carrybag for storage and feature a waterproof main compartment. The use of a Hypalon roll-top closure ensures this stays waterproof while creating wide access to the contents.

The 23-litre Zip Dry Pack (pictured right) weighs in at 142g and has a variety of pockets to help organise contents, including a front zip pocket and a pouch on each side for items like water bottles. The 28-litre UL Dry Pack (pictured left) weighs just 88g and is designated UL to highlight this Ultra Lightweight feature. It includes an adjustable drawstring on the front – perfect for cycle helmets, jackets etc.

The UL Day Pack is also ultra light – this simpler water-resistant pack is just 65g. It packs down to a mere 9cm x 9cm x 4cm and tucks into its own inner pocket when not in use, making it the ideal solution to keep close by for times when a quick carrying solution is needed.
