Updates to the 2024 range
Way back in early 2023, Sunlight announced three new Ford-based low-profile motorhomes and a raft of specification and pack changes, as well as confirming three new fabric choices and the deletion of one model – the T 69 L – from its range.
These three all-new 3,500kg Ford Transit-based ‘T’ series low-profiles and a new Fiat-based T 68 C have exactly the same layout as the T 69 LC until you reach the rear where there are twin single beds.
The three new motorhomes are the T 670 S, T 690 L and the T 680 Adventure Edition, a 7.36m-long low-profile coachbuilt built on the Ford chassis, which is available with a far more distinctive front ‘Raptor’ grille reminiscent of Ford pick-ups from the USA.
The model, which features rear twin single beds (212cm by 80cm and 205cm by 80cm) over a garage, is available in standard form as a two-berth but with the option for five berths thanks to a drop-down double (195cm by 140cm) above the front lounge and a further single bed made from the lounge. It is to all intents the same as the Fiat Ducato-based Sunlight T 68 but on a Ford chassis.
As standard, all three new Ford-based models come with a 130bhp turbo diesel coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. There is an option to upgrade to a 155bhp engine and a six-speed automatic gearbox. The standard specification in the habitation area is high, and made even more so by the addition of the Adventure Edition moniker on the T 680. As standard, expect a cab sunroof, a larger 156-litre fridge/freezer, unique soft furnishings, framed windows, twin doors to the garage and a raft of what are normally optional packs as standard, while on the exterior the cab comes in Obsidian black and buyers get 16in alloy wheels.
In other changes, the interior as well as the exterior of all Sunlight models have been redesigned. On the interior, Sunlight now offers new accents on its furnishings, while the interiors are now available in a choice of Black Flow, Cozy Cottage and Dyna White. New laminates have been used, as well as Mountain Lodge flooring. Complementing the popular Adventure special edition furnishing and the new Performance Grey, there is a new Green Trail furnishing option aimed at those looking for more individuality by offering a dynamic black-green colour with yellow accents.
On the exterior, 2024 models get a new automotive-style rear light mounting: the LED single rear light bar extends over the full width and is a new signature element. The new exterior look is now also defined by grey and black shades. Another bold statement is that the logo no longer features lettering on its flanks, but only Sunlight’s palm tree logo.

Sunlight’s luxury A-class motorhome range offers three layouts, all of which can be ordered in standard guise, or this Adventure Edition specification. UK buyers do tend to go for better-equipped motorhomes, so we’ll focus on the models with the special edition packs.
Choose between the I 67 S (twin single beds and an all-in-one washroom that has a swing wall to create the shower area), the I 68 (twin single beds but the washroom is split across the aisle with shower opposite the toilet compartment) or this I 69 L.
You get the 140bhp engine, as well as special graphics and interior fabrics, along with 16in alloy wheels, a sunroof over the cab and sleeker, framed windows, There’s also a second door to the garage (it’s narrower than the main one), a 156-litre fridge and the kit to convert the lounge to a single bed. You also get the Basic Pack (entrance door with window, pre-wired for reversing camera) and the Style Pack (leather steering wheel and gear knob, silver trim on the dash) included.
The 69 L offers a walk-around double island bed at the rear, with a washroom straddling the aisle just ahead.
The kitchen (with three-burner hob) and that already-mentioned fridge are also centrally located.
Then at the front is a lounge with a forward-facing bench (containing the third and fourth travel seats) and small side seat. As per the norm, the cab seats swivel to complete the lounge. There’s also a drop-down double bed – the beauty of many A-class motorhomes is that the double bed over the cab can be deployed while still leaving much of the lounge usable. It’s a good size, too, at 2m by 1.50m, which is in fact slightly larger than the main bed at the rear. All you need to do to lower this is to push the backrests on both cab seats flat.
Useful details include a flyscreen for the main door, power socket in the garage, soft-closing drawers and electric step.

Cliff is Sunlight’s campervan range and here we’re taking a look at its 600 RT in Adventure Edition. As already mentioned, that extra spec from the Adventure Edition name is sure to appeal to British buyers, but what’s included will obviously be slightly different for the Cliff campervan range as opposed to the motorhomes.
This is the RT model, denoting the addition of a pop-top roof. This makes massive sense for the Fiat Ducato campervans, as they can offer a second good-sized double bed up above, which is only deployed when needed. Many such models with a fixed bed layout like this one may only offer a third berth in the lounge otherwise, and this can be a smaller, more complicated set-up.
The roof canvas can be rolled down to create an amazing rooftop sunset viewing terrace, too.
This 600 model is based on the 6m-long Fiat Ducato, providing a transverse double bed at the rear, central kitchen and all-in-one washroom with a lounge up front.

It's widely accepted that the Ford Transit offers one of the best driving experiences in mainstream motorhomes, and that’s what this new low-profile motorhome range is based on.
That chunky Ford logo and black grille instantly makes this model stand out, enhanced by the 16in black alloy wheels, and black cab. The rear lights have a neat bridge light to give them a more automotive look.
This T 670 S shares many of the extra Adventure Edition highlights as the A-class above; however, this model gets the Chassis Pack instead of the Style Pack and, as it has single beds at the rear, you also get a kit to join these two berths together and make one massive double.
The details we love? Those include the open aspect from bedroom to kitchen to lounge that gives this motorhome the feel of a much bigger one, plus the neat shoe locker located right by the door, and the swing wall in the washroom that makes a good shower cubicle on a compact footprint.
