Sunlight launches Special Edition XV motorhome and campervan range

German brand Sunlight has launched anniversary motorhome and campervan models to celebrate its 15^th birthday.

The brand – part of the Erwin Hymer Group – has introduced Special Edition XV versions of its Cliff campervan range and to two of its low profile motorhome formats, the T68 and T69L.

The full Cliff campervan range is available in Special Edition XV format. There are four layouts – the 540, 600, 601 and 640. All feature a front diner and rear bed setup.

The Cliff 540 is the shortest at 5.41m and the Cliff 640 measures 6.36m, while the 600 and 601 both come in at 5.99m. The key difference between the two is that the latter features bunk beds, making this a 4/5 berth model, while the 600 offers 2/3 beds.

While regular Cliff models are white, the Special Edition XV models have a different colour scheme - metallic black with wing-shaped matt black graphics. The bike rack that comes fitted to the Special Edition XV is matt black, too – as is the cassette for the Thule Omnistar awning. 

Further exterior features include black bumpers, 16in black alloy wheels and a palm tree logo on the grille.

Inside, the leather Alcantara seats feature special edition ‘XV’ embroidery. You also get passenger air bags, air conditioning, cruise control, daytime running lights, leather steering wheel, and pre-wiring for a reversing camera and multimedia package. Prices start at £43,899.00.

For the 2020 season, all Cliff models also now come with a larger 90L fridge - upgraded from a 70L one - which is conveniently located near the sliding door so you can easily grab a cold drink while sitting outside. The bed system has also been upgraded to feature new slats, which offer more support, are lighter, and can be replaced individually. Further updates include twin USB ports in the living area.

The two Special Edition XV motorhomes – T68 and T69L – are both 7.40m in length; the former has twin beds in the rear and the latter an island bed layout.

Both have a black cab with a silver body and wing-shaped black graphics. And, as with the Cliff XV models, you get a black bike rack and black cassette for the Thule Omnistar awning, as well as a black bumper and palm tree logo on the grille. High rear light clusters also add to the sporty look.

In addition to those leather Alcantara seats with special edition ‘XV’ embroidery, the interior has a flatscreen TV, flush-fitting windows, a multimedia package and prewiring for a reversing camera. Prices start at £57.499,00.
