Celebrating 20 years
German manufacturer, Sunlight, which creates motorhomes and campervans in the entry-level sector, is celebrating its twentieth anniversary.
To celebrate this major milestone, Sunlight, part of the massive Erwin Hymer Group of companies, has introduced significant savings on two special edition anniversary models.
The two anniversary models have been enhanced with extra equipment and design touches so they are instantly identifiable from the inside and outside as anniversary special edition models and, because of their enhanced equipment levels, buyers are in for a real treat.
“Sunlight is 20, and we know how to celebrate!” said a Sunlight spokesman. “Our XX special editions are limited and available for just one year, featuring exclusive interiors and sporty graphics.
Plus, a powerful LTE/ WiFi antenna ensures you stay connected, even in the middle of nowhere!” Buyers can save up to £3,600 on the special edition T 68 XX coachbuilt motorhome and £2,200 on the Cliff 600 XX special edition campervan.
These two anniversary models are based on the two best-selling models in the Sunlight range – the Cliff 600, which has a rear transverse double bed layout – and the low-profile T 68, which has a twin rear single bed layout.
This means they will be highly attractive to buyers, even more so because of their extra kit and attractive pricing – T 68 XX retails for £73,890, while the Cliff 600 XX retails for an even more attractive £59,990.
Beware, though, that production of the two models is restricted and they will only be available for one year so, if you’re interested, the advice is to get to the 12 Sunlight dealers serving the UK and Ireland quick!

The Cliff 600 XX 20 Years Edition gets significant enhancements over the standard Cliff 600, including XX Edition decals on the exterior and soft furnishings with XX branding inside.
In addition to the basic specification, which is already comprehensive and includes three option packs as standard, this compact 5.99m-long Ducato-based campervan gets an awning and a metallic black cab and chassis (it already has black alloy wheels) in addition to the exclusive graphics on the exterior.
Inside, buyers get one of Europe’s most popular campervan layouts with a large (1.97m by 1.57m) double bed across the rear with a central shower room and WC on the nearside and a kitchen with hob, sink and 84-litre fridge/freezer on the offside.
At the front is a half-dinette with twin belted travel seats and swivel captain’s cab seats with twin armrests.
There is an option to make this two-berth campervan into a five-berth by adding a pop-top roof, which contains a further double bed (measuring 2.06m by 1.43m) and a conversion kit to create a single bed (1.85m by 1.05m).

The low-profile T 68 coachbuilt from Sunlight is already one of its best-selling models thanks to its high standard specification and popular layout.
This sees twin single beds (2.1m by 0.8m and 2.15m by 0.8m) in a rear bedroom with a shower room and washroom at the foot of the beds, which can be closed off from the rest of the motorhome to create an en suite area.
Forward of this is the well-equipped kitchen on the nearside with a large 156-litre fridge/freezer opposite.
At the front is the lounge area featuring a half-dinette with twin belted travel seats, a further side- facing seat and the twin swivel cab seats, which mean this lounge is large enough for five to dine in comfort around the table.
And, because this is the special anniversary edition model, buyers get even more for their money with enhancements that include exclusive exterior graphics, a high-level light cluster, an awning, extra garage door, bike rack, premium framed windows and a cab sunroof.
Inside, the extras include exclusive XX branding on the soft furnishings, mobile internet, a 22in TV and even the single-to-double bed conversion kit.
