Sun Living reveals 2018 motorhomes

Sun Living, the entry-level brand from Adria, has revealed its new season of 2018 motorhomes

Previous models in the Sun Living range were essentially pared-back existing Adria models with less equipment and simpler interiors. But that philosophy has been abandoned for the 2018 Sun Living range, as it has been designed from scratch and completely independent of the Adria’s motorhomes and campervans.

So this new-season range now has its own identity, layouts and exclusive features, aimed at newcomers and the rental market.

MMM magazine, which is Britain's best-selling mtotorhome magazine, is producing a free supplement with the November issue that will feature deatils of all the new 2018 motorhomes and campervans being launched in the UK. For 2018, there are three ranges: the V-Series high-top van conversions, the S-Series low-profile coachbuilts and the A-Series overcab coachbuilts. All are based on the Fiat Ducato and will be available with the 130bhp engine (options include the 150bhp engine and the auto box).

All come with a very modern new interior – white overhead lockers and white worktops. In specific layouts there is also a new washroom design. Incorporating a large tambour door, the washroom can be closed off in two ways, one to create a large aisle or slid out to create a decent-sized washroom. There is still access past the washroom though when the door is slid out.

The V-Series gets two models: the SP with a traditional transverse fixed bed layout and the SL, which has fixed single beds that can be used as a rear lounge thanks to a raised floor.

In the low-profile S-Series, two of the layouts come with an optional drop-down bed in the lounge (S 70SC with an island bed and the S 70DF with a French bed, both 6.99m long). Three of these models have the flexible washroom already mentioned, the 5.99m-long S 60SP with a transverse double bed and the 6.99m long S 70SP (which comes with a second drop-down double in the lounge as standard), as well as the fixed twin single bed S 65SL (6.71m long). The final model is the S 75SL with fixed single beds measuring in at 7.39m.

In the A-Series overcabs, you can choose between two models, one with rear bunks (70DK) and one with a fixed transverse double bed (75DP), both of which have the flexible washroom concept.

Prices are yet to be announced.
