Richard Baldwin Motorhomes extends warranties on its special edition motorhomes
Motorhome dealer, Richard Baldwin Motorhomes, has followed up the exclusive DPS 360 feature on its 2017 special edition motorhomes with another innovation. It’s offering extended warranties as standard – upping the base vehicle and habitation warranties to five years apiece
The DPS 360 system, designed and fitted by RBM, proved such a success last year that the special edition models sold out early.
It’s a unique all-round vision safety and security concept that uses four cameras to give 360° vision when manoeuvring or when you’re parked up. It can also be used as a permanent rear-view monitor, and can record all movements to act as back-up evidence in the event of any incident. DPS 360 is also linked to a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm which turns on the cameras when it suspects any foul play.
Specialist insurance company, Caravan Guard, offers a 25% discount on premiums for vehicles with this system.
In addition, 2018 Musketeer models will sport alloy wheels and an external gas barbecue point, adding to a list of goodies with a total retail value of some £7,000.
Says managing director Gary Morgan: “We make a habit out of being pioneers for bringing things to the market that nobody else does at the time that we launch them. We were the first to make ESP standard on our specials, the first to introduce the DPS 360 system, and the first to include fourth and fifth year warranties. And so it goes. Smallish dealer, big ideas!”
