Pilote announces two new Midlands-based dealers
Following the closure of West Midlands-based motorhome dealer, Hayes Leisure, Groupe Pilote has announced partnerships with two new dealerships in the Midlands
Although Hills Campervans has been working with Pilote’s Van models for around 18 months, the Kidderminster-based dealership has now taken on a broader selection of Pilote models for 2023, having very quickly built an extensive knowledge of the brand.
Groupe Pilote has also appointed Cosford Caravans and Motorhomes, which is based in Shropshire, as its newest representative, which will be showcasing the full range of Pilote models with immediate effect.
A representative for Groupe Pilote says,
We would like to extend our warmest admiration and congratulations as the team at Hayes Leisure retire and cease trading in the motorhome business. They have been a valued partner of Groupe Pilote for over 30 years.
They were the first people to bring Pilote to the UK shores by importing the vehicles directly from France. Without Hayes, Pilote may not have gained the strong reputation it now has in the UK and the presence of multiple dealers up and down the country.
Their loyal customer base has been coming back to them for years in and around the Midlands. We wish them well and good luck to everybody involved in the dealership.
With the closure of Hayes, there is now a big hole in the network around the Midlands area. We are confident that they [Hills Campervans and Cosford Caravans and Motorhomes] can replace Hayes’ excellent service that is now expected around the Midlands. Both dealerships have dedicated workshop and aftersales teams to cover any form of work necessary.
