New motorhome on Maxus

PCS Commercials Ltd have launched the first new motorhome based on the LDV Maxus.

The prototype of the Maxus Marni features two side-facing bench seats that convert into a double bed. Rear and side doors provide access into the living area, which is also equipped with a shower and toilet compartment. The kitchen includes a stainless steel sink and a two-burner hob, with a Dometic fridge beneath, but there is no oven/grill. Outside, an Omnistor awning and exterior light are fitted to the exterior.

There is just one layout available at present, but PCS are planning further layouts, and customers are invited to contact them to discuss their requirements in terms of additional berths, alternative upholstery, fittings and so on.

The LWB high-top measures 5.67m long, 2.38m wide and 2.54m high, and has a 2.5-litre CDi engine. The price for the current model, complete with high-spec additions such as awning, metallic paint, alloy wheels, colour-coded bumpers and mirrors and 15-inch plasma TV, will be £29,995.
