New Fiats for Karmann
The Ontario is an upmarket overcab coachbuilt with distinctive silver bodywork and a large swoopy luton profile. Inside it features a unique look with white acrylic upper locker doors set off by aluminium trims and contrasting cherry wood cabinets.
The Ontario is Karmann’s first double-floor coachbuilt and it is fully winterised. Three layouts are offered – the compact 580 with its forward lounge, the family-orientated 670 with bunk beds and the fixed bed 700.
Meanwhile, the Davis is the brand’s new entry-level model, described as ‘compact and dynamic’. Again it is painted silver, while white and silver elements are used to create an up-to-the-minute interior. But the big news is that Davis takes the prestigious Karmann marque into the van conversions sector for the first time.
Efficient insulation is claimed to match that of more expensive coachbuilt models and includes a heated waste tank and heated waste water pipes. Two Davis models are available – the 540 and 590, measuring 5.41m and 5.99m long respectively.
