New electric campervan is coming

LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company), which makes electric taxis, has announced the first details and impressions of its e-Camper, the first deliveries of which will be in the fourth quarter of this year.

The e-Camper will use LEVC’s range extender technology which provides a 60-mile electric only range but a total range of over 300 miles. An indicative list price of £62,250 is quoted and potential customers can register their interest at levc.com/ecamper

Based on the LEVC VN5 electric van, the e-Camper has a side kitchen layout and four berths – two in the pop-top roof and two created from the sliding rear bench seat. The cab seats swivel, while more unusually the kitchen is all-electric.

With its taxi heritage, it’s no surprise that the LEVC campervan offers a class-leading turning circle but it is also offered in a wide range of paint colours, as well as with coloured bumpers and alloy wheels.
