Motorhome dealer, Tyne Valley opens new service centre

Northeast England motorhome dealership, Tyne Valley Motorhomes, has opened a new service centre at its site near Burnopfield, Tyne and Wear. Representing an investment of some £500,000, it adds service bays as well as a parking area

It’s come about as a result of the purchase of an extra two acres of land behind its current site.

“We’ve invested significantly in the new service centre because customer experience is at the top of our priorities. We’ve created a whole new minimum standard system for the business and it’s designed specifically to provide a more personal, smooth experience – from the point of booking in, to how things flow during the visit, to leaving and being given a follow up call,” said Director, Jonathan Bell (pictured).

“Simple things like pre-qualifying customers’ needs by telephone prior to their visit can make all the difference to efficiency on the day in terms of allocating the correct time, parts, staff etc.  Everything we can do to make our systems better directly impacts on the customer.”

Tyne Valley was also recently appointed a UK agent for Hymer the northeast of England, adding to the other franchises it holds – Auto-Trail, Chausson and Elddis (the latter also supplying its exclusive Signature special edition models).
