Motorhome dealer Brownhills announces weekend events

The Nottinghamshire-based motorhome dealership, Brownhills, has confirmed its calendar of events for its Club Brownhills members – including a Summer Spectacular where the headline act is the comedy duo, Cannon and Ball

The events start with a Strictly Motorhome Weekend on April 7-8, where the Saturday night highlight will be special guests Anton du Beke and Erin Boage from BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing. There will also be the Tom Jones tribute artist, Dean Jones.

June 9-11 sees the Summer Spectacular Weekend, which will headline with Cannon and Ball and will also feature tribute acts for Abba and the Bee Gees, plus a ‘Pie and Peas’ Friday night supper.

There will also be an Auto-Trail 2018 launch weekend in September, where – as well as a first chance to see new models from the UK manufacturer – there will be a ceilidh band and other entertainments.

In addition, Brownhills has also announced it will be supporting the Cancer Research UK charity throughout this year. Marketing manager, Jenny Colloff, says: “We will be raising money at our three on site events, via raffles and a selection of stalls. But, as well as this, myself and a few colleagues will be embarking on a 40-mile bike challenge… it might not sound that far but I haven’t been on a bike for about 10 years!”

She adds: “There are now 16 confirmed Brownhills employees taking part in the challenge, on Saturday May 27, including Steve Cullen our CEO. So many employees at Brownhills have been touched by cancer one way or another, especially during the past 12 months, it therefore seems fitting that we do as much as we can to help beat this terrible disease in the future.”
