Marquis extends Mobilvetta range and confirms launch of Randger campervans

Marquis Leisure, the UK importer for Mobilvetta motorhomes from Italy, has announced changes to ensure all new models will have approval from UK trade body, the NCC (National Caravan Council).

That includes alterations to K-Yacht A-class models 79 and 85, which will now have their entrance door on the UK nearside.

Marquis Marketing Director, Andy Brand, explained: “NCC approval… means that customers know that their new model has been manufactured to the highest standards possible, thus giving peace of mind and the expectation of higher residual value when they come to part exchange it.”

Marquis has also announced three new Mobilvetta Techno Line KEA P models. These are low-profile coachbuilts with similar specifications to their A-class stablemates. Plus, there is to be a new A-class offering. The K-Silver I will have a lower specification and pricing compared to the K-Yacht Tekno Line series.

Marquis is also set to be the UK agent for Randger van conversions, which are built in France.

Initially, two models are being brought in, both based on the Fiat Talento.

The R499 and R535 are both four-berths with elevating roofs.

The R499 is 4.99m long with a rear-hinging roof and a side furniture/rear bench seat-cum-bed floorplan. The longer 5.40m R535 has a front-hinging elevating roof and a double dinette plus rear corner washroom and a kitchen extending along the UK offside.

Specifications for both include Fiat’s AS6 media system, 17in black alloy wheels, exterior Style Pack 5, cruise control and heating options.

The Talento base vehicle from Fiat is a direct descendant of the Scudo as well as being derived from Renault’s latest Trafic. It comes with a choice of 1.6-litre Euro VI diesel engines and manual transmission.

The full Randger portfolio includes models based on Fiat’s Ducato and Ford’s Transit, including a unique four-wheel drive version of the latter.

You can watch a video of the first Randger to be reviewed by MMM magazine below.
