Knaus Tabbert claims successful CMT show

At the recently-closed CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, Knaus Tabbert GmbH, a leading manufacturer of caravans and motorhomes in Europe, presented its extensive portfolio of leisure vehicles in the Knaus, Tabbert, Weinsberger and T@B in its own hall. In addition visitors also had the chance to see Knaus and Weinsberg campervans in Hall 5, so that altogether the manufacturer was able to present about 100 vehicles, including several new models for the coming season.

For the sixth time in a row Knaus Tabbert GmbH increased the number of vehicles sold at the CMT. Compared to the positive result of the previous year, the sales of motorhomes, caravans and camper vans increased by more than 10 percent in 2016, although this year the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart with 220,000 visitors had about 10 percent less visitors than in the previous year.

Wolfgang Speck, Chairman of the Management Board of Knaus Tabbert GmbH, commented, "2015 was an extremely positive year for us, a year in which we not only achieved a growth from €300 to €350 million, but simultaneously again set standards in the industry with product highlights such as the Sun i or Sport & Fun. For 2016 we again expect further growth in the direction of the targeted €400 million figure. A successful start to the year at the CMT is immensely important for this. With 400 sold vehicles we exceeded the set targets and again increased the very good result of the previous year by more than 10%. We are pleased to see that especially our new vehicles of the Weinsburger brand clearly enjoyed more popularity than in the previous years. A clear sign that our still, quite-young brand has arrived in the highly competitive beginner segment."
