Keep motorhome bicycles under lock and key

Bicycle theft is a growing problem and having bikes on the back of your motorhome makes them exposed to would-be thieves. A new bike lock has been launched to counter the problem. The British-made lock has been designed by a former aeronautical engineer, Professor Neil Barron, using his own composite material called Boaflexicore.

The material not only ensures a high level of security, but also means that the Litelok is flexible and much lighter than many other locks. It means it can be wrapped around trees and lamp-posts to secure your bike while in towns. Litelok weighs just 1.1 kg, compared to some which can weigh over 5 kg.

It also snaps shut without having to fiddle around with a key and is easily attached to a bike using custom straps.

In addition, two Liteloks can be combined with the same key for extra length. It’s handy if you’re taking more than two bikes with you.

Litelok is available in three colours: Crow Black, Herringbone and Boa Green. The locks cost £85.00 each or there’s a twin pack for £160.00. Available from Litelok.com.
