Jerba Campervans expands facility as orders increase

Expanding capacity in Scotland

Jerba Campervans of North Berwick, on the coast road towards Edinburgh, Scotland, has recently finished work on a new, environmentally friendly workshop and conversion facility that provides for 40% more space than its old workshop. The new building has been insulated to use less heating energy while offering a lighter and warmer work environment. Simon Poole, joint-owner of Jerba commented that the company converted around 43 T5s last year and expected to be able to manage up to 60 in the new facility this year. In fact, the company’s order book was full from now until October.

Jerba is a VW registered vehicle body builder for the Transporter T5 which has just been superseded by the VW T6 launch last week. Convertors have until Friday, 30 April to order any more T5s from VW, after which you can only order the new T6. Deliveries of those are expected to start arriving in the Autumn.
