A pair of new 6.99m-long models are the stars of the 2021 range from Itineo, the Rapido Group’s brand that specialises in entry-level A-class motorhomes.

First up is the MC700, which is a new island bed model with an unusual offset bed, positioned towards the offside. In the rear nearside corner, next to the bed, is a separate shower, while the toilet compartment is at the front of the bedroom on the same side.

It has an open-plan living area with side settees and a folding table, while the kitchen includes a 150-litre fridge/freezer.

The other completely new design is the SC700, a family motorhome that can, optionally, offer five berths and five travel seats. There’s a spacious face-to-face lounge and an overall length of 6.99m, but also a small transverse dinette at the far rear of the vehicle.

At night, a pair of bunk beds with electric height adjustment turn this into a kids’ bedroom. The parental bed is, of course, the drop-down double in the cab. The SC700 extends Itineo’s selection of family-friendly layouts with something unique in the market.

That's not all. The unusual transverse island bed RC740, introduced a year ago, has been updated with features including a larger nearside bench, bigger fridge, and a bed extension.

Itineo is also adding the Spirit Edition, available in two 7.43m-long models – the SB740 bunk bed layout with up to seven berths and the MC740 with its large island bed (1.95m by 1.60m) and side sofa lounge.

The Spirit Edition gets alloy wheels, special leather-style TEP upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a backlit kitchen window surround.
