Grantham caravans expands workshop
Retailer Grantham’s has officially opened a brand-new 12-bay workshop to boost the company’s service and repair capacity across the East Midlands. The new workshop will also serve and the primary training centre for aspiring NCC-certified technicians in the Midlands.

This expansion represents a major step forward for us as a business and as a team. It’s about more than just increasing our capacity, it’s about investing in the future of the leisure industry and our community. We’re proud to be creating new jobs locally while continuing to raise the standard of service for our customers. This is just the first phase of what’s to come, and we’re excited about the journey ahead.
Grantham’s says the new workshop is part of a wider development strategy, and that the expanded facility will accomodate increased customer demand and enable faster turnaround times on servicing and repairs.
The long-term development strategy includes a new multi-purpose building which will feature:
- An indoor awning and accessory display area
- A new service reception
- Sales and office space
- A café for customers and staff
- Boardroom facilities for training and meetings
Grantham's sells a broad range of motorhomes from leading brands, including:
- Swift
- Bailey
- Chausson
- Auto-Trail
- Rimor
The expansion has also been celebrated by other industry voices.
Elliot Hibbs, Director at Coachman, said,
