First owners welcomed at £2 million Shropshire holiday park
The latest phase of a £2 million investment at Spring Lea Holiday Park and Fishery is now open and has welcomed its first owners
New caravan holiday home owners, Trevor and Tina Palin, were presented with a celebratory signed Shrewsbury Town football shirt as they’re both avid fans.
Owned by Salop Caravan Sites, the 25-acre park, near Shrewsbury, enjoys views of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers four well-stocked, mature coarse and carp fishing pools.
Alongside its holiday homes, there are also 20 seasonal, hardstanding pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes.
On-site facilities include toilets and showers, a utility room with washing machine and dryer, electric hook-up and fresh water points on each pitch, waste disposal and a new children’s play area is set to open for Easter 2023.

We are delighted with the new, exclusive development of holiday home pitches and it’s great to be welcoming our first owners.
It really is a stunning location, not only for fishing, but as a base to explore the local area and see what Shropshire has to offer you. The area is famous for its local walks and breathtaking scenery, yet is still close to Shrewsbury.
