Drawn to the outdoors from an early age, Henry is made to meander through the British countryside, where slow walks, open landscapes and fresh air feel most at home.

Alongside the closure, the site has confirmed that, upon reopening, motorhomes, caravans and other vehicles over six metres will be restricted in order to minimise pressure on the area.

The site says that, due to increased visitor numbers in recent years, there is a need for refreshed paths, safer parking arrangements and better care for the surrounding environment.

“As part of our Place Programme, this project delivers long-term infrastructure investment that strengthens the site’s resilience, improves visitor safety and access, and supports the recovery of surrounding habitats.”

Stuart Mearns, Director of Place at Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority, said:

For those exceeding the new limit, Tarbet, a short distance from Falls of Falloch, has recently seen a number of improvements, including better provision for motorhomes.

The project forms part of the National Park Authority’s wider commitment to infrastructure development, with investment this financial year totalling £1.2 million.
