Dometic unveils new waterless toilet
Dometic has launched the CTT4000, a waterless separation cassette toilet designed for off-grid adventures by eliminating the need for water.

The CTT4000 operates without water by separating liquids and solids into two different tanks. This allows for fewer trips to emptying points, making it an ideal option for off-grid trips.
When it's time for disposal, the integrated service flap allows for hygienic transportation while the new 90-degree rotatable bowl makes for a new space-saving design.
Anton Lundqvist, Chief Technology Officer at Dometic, commented,
Thanks to our smart design capabilities, the CTT4000 offers a simple yet ingenious solution – no water, no chemicals, no unpleasant odours. It’s a cleaner, smarter choice for the planet and our customers.
For users with an existing chemical toilet, Dometic now also offers an upgrade kit which allows for conversion into a separation toilet. The new model also includes a PMMA-coated bowl surface making cleaning easier, and a filling sensor which shows the tank’s capacity.
