That high spec includes the 130bhp engine and 16in alloy wheels, electric mirrors, heated windscreen with rain-sensor wipers, automatic headlights with static cornering function, lane assist, cab air-con, colour-coded bumpers and side skirts, fog light, cab blinds, flush-fitting windows, second garage door, overcab rooflight, window in the habitation door, bigger rooflight in the lounge, duckboard for the shower, TV bracket and pre-wiring for a satellite system, ambient roof and side lighting, pre-wiring for solar panels, insulated waste water tank and a smoke detector.

Choose between four models with fixed single beds, a French bed (positioned lengthways to one side) and an island bed (more of a peninsula with the head of the bed on the rear wall and walk-around access to three sides).

The interior includes a very distinctive dark grey and teal fabric. We love it, but you can specify a duo-tone grey if it’s not your thing. This is paired with a Noce Nagano (walnut) wood. There’s 2.13m of headroom throughout, but this will be less in the lounge if you specify the optional drop-down bed here (single or a double depending on the layout). Also note the L suffix on two of the models, which means it comes with a face-to-face seating group, rather than an L-shaped lounge.

Most kitchens come with a 137-litre fridge (the smallest 6615 has an 83-litre fridge, which can be upgraded to a 137-litre version if required), while an oven is also an option. All models, except the most compact 6615, offer L-shaped kitchens, which makes the most of the space available, offering a two-burner gas hob, decent-sized sink and some worktop for meal prep. Rail systems on the wall allow you to keep essential utensils and more to hand.

At night you’ll rest yourself on top of 150mm-thick seven-zone foam, which has climate-regulating properties. Island beds (measuring 1.90m by 1.50m) are height adjustable to allow you to improve bed access or increase storage below, while singles are 2.15m long. Most models (except for the French bed T6905) offer a large garage, suitable, Dethleffs says, for most e-bikes.

If you wanted to look at upgrading your Just Go, then there’s automatic transmission and the 155bhp engine – Ford’s prices here are generally more reasonable than the Fiat Ducato. The 155bhp engine is £1,420 extra, while the 130bhp auto will add £2,400 and the big engine with auto is just £3,810.

Other options include a 4m awning, towbar, three-bike rack, Isofix for rear travel seats, electric drop-down lounge bed, larger 137-litre fridge, large cab display, second reversing camera, Winter Comfort Package (insulated underfloor pipes, 6kW gas/electric heating, electric heating to the waste water tank and pipes), 100W solar panel, second leisure battery and automatic gas changeover valve.
