CMC HemBil launch new campervan
CMC HemBil, which is built by CMC Reimo, recently unveiled its latest addition to the range at the Motorhome and Caravan Show, which was held at the Birmingham NEC back in October.
The new campervan is called the Urban and, like others in the range, is based on a VW. While the launch model was based on the current T6, orders for next year are being taken for the latest T6.1 model.
Similar to its sibling, the HemBil Drift, the Urban features a Variotech 3000 bench that has three seatbelts, and easily converts to a good-sized double bed, come night time. It’s also fitted to tracks on the floor, enabling multiple locking positions.
To accompany the rock ‘n’ roll style bed, there’s a side kitchen featuring a two-burner gas hob, sink and a top-loading fridge. But what’s unique about the new Urban is that the unit containing the hob and gas canister is fully removable, which is ideal in summer time for cooking al fresco.
However, if the Urban is your only vehicle and, therefore, the daily drive, the unit could be stored in the garage at home, thus freeing up more space in the campervan. Handy if you want to carry more than five passengers, too, as additional removable single seats can be fitted to the track system.
Prices start from £46,950.
