Cancer survivor cycling British coast for charity
The challenge, which kicks off on May 10, will see Bill cycle an average of 70 miles a day before arriving back in his hometown of Clitheroe, Lancashire some time in July.
As back-up vehicle and accommodation en route, Bill has acquired a Sunlight A-70 from Richard Baldwin Motorhomes of Halifax.
Insurance has been a difficult problem, with ten different drivers taking a week out to help support the challenge, but Caravan Guard managed to resolve everything so that the ride can go ahead as planned.
Bill, who will also be joined on part of the route by his wife Val, said: “After my own experience of cancer taking on a challenge like this is my way of give something back and saying thank you.”
“I took up cycling after completing my treatment and it’s been an ambition of mine to tour the entire British coastline ever since. Taking on a challenge like this seems a perfect way to do something for charity and I’m hoping we can raise £20,000 for Cancer Research UK.”

Good luck from everyone at MMM, Bill!
