Campervan converter, Wellhouse Leisure, moves to new premises
Campervan converter Wellhouse Leisure has now moved to its new, larger premises in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The new 16,000 square-foot factory, offices and warehouse gives Wellhouse Leisure 60% more space than its previous location in Huddersfield, and has also created four new job roles for the campervan converter.
Production has already started at the new factory and the extra space now allows Wellhouse Leisure to produce its new Ford Transit Custom and Toyota Proace campervan models, plus conversions of imported models such as the Toyota Alphard, all in the same place.
“After many successful years in Huddersfield, we had outgrown our previous premises and needed somewhere bigger. Our move went well, and the extra space at our new place means we can work more efficiently, plus the access for deliveries and customers is also much better. Best of all, we’re still really proud that we can still say that our campervans are ‘made in Yorkshire’,” said David Elliott, CEO and founder of Wellhouse Leisure.
Customers wishing to visit the new premises (at Unit 1, Cannon Way, Claycliffe Road Industrial Estate, Barugh Green, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S75 1JU) must pre-book an appointment by calling 01226 668800. Vehicle video tours can also be arranged via WhatsApp.
