Sunlight Vanlife
Sunlight has picked the right name for its latest campervan, designed specifically to embody the idea of vanlife. The new Vanlife model is both compact and a massive break from the traditional high-top campervan, so let’s break it down…
It starts at the cab where there’s a solid insulated wall separating the cab from the living area; it is well known that the cab is often one of the biggest areas of heat loss in a camper. This also allows for the installation of a proper staircase up into the pop-top roof bed, which is a generous size (2.06m by 1.43m).
The roof sides unzip, too, to make a proper bedroom with a view. Up here, there’s a light and access to charging ports for your devices.
The stairs double up to provide even more storage as well as housing the 64-litre compressor fridge. That’s not the only bedroom, though; an optional extra means that when the weather is unfavourable, you can also sleep downstairs in the rear lounge. The washroom is a proper space, too, with a bench cassette toilet and fold-down basin.
This is opposite the kitchen that has a fold-up worktop to help when cooking with super easy-to-access drawers below.
The lounge floor is raised to provide dedicated table storage, although the table can also be used as a room divider between lounge and kitchen to keep kit in place on the road. You’ll also find the gas locker under one of these seats. It holds a 2.75kg cylinder; this only needs to run the hob as the fridge runs off the battery and the heating and hot water boiler is powered by the diesel tank.
However, it’s a pretty amazing feat that Sunlight has managed to offer all this on the medium-wheelbase Fiat which is only 5.4m long. A three-room concept in a vehicle not much longer than the biggest Defender!

Sunlight V 67 S Adventure
Slim models are very on-trend right now – and with innovations coming all the time, maximising space available, they’ve never looked so tempting.
This model is one of the most popular in Sunlight’s Van Adventure range with single beds at the rear above a large storage area. A two-berth as standard, there is a drop-down single bed option for the lounge as well as one to make the lounge seating into a second single, so you could sleep up to four.
That’s particularly relevant as Isofix points are fitted to the rear travel seats as standard – even if you don’t travel with kids, these can come in handy for pet travel/harness systems.
The kitchen has a two-burner hob and sink combo and a pop-up worktop for food prep, but the real star is the 137-litre fridge. Adventure spec adds an awning, three-bike rack, an overcab sunroof and a second door for the garage.
Key features
- Narrow dimensions for easier driving
- Adventure Pack offers essential kit
- Slatted frames for fixed bed

Sunlight IBEX
If you fancy your holidays that bit more off-grid than the norm, take a look at the new IBEX campervan. Based on the Crafter 4x4 (4Motion), this model looks every bit the rugged adventurer it has been designed to be.
Those pods on the sides, which are designed to allow you to sleep across the campervan in the rear double bed, add to the look, adorned as they are here with grid references.
Add in the map-style decals, black accessories and alloy wheels, and premium flush-fit framed windows, and it makes for a striking campervan. Inside, there’s a great mix of tones and textures to create a modern aesthetic.
Note the drawer fridge located on the end of the kitchen unit and the open lockers with handy bungee cord retainers.
There is also a neat sliding dividing wall for the garage, which securely retains your kit on the road as well as allowing access to storage and providing a step for access into the bed.
Key features
- Four-wheel drive Crafter
- Modern interiors
- Coming in 2026
