Bürstner motorhomes: 2026 essential guide
This year, German manufacturer, Bürstner, has almost entirely reinvented its motorhome and campervan line-up, with just three ranges on offer, including an innovative, never-seen-before feature.

Premium reimagined
Bürstner Signature
With a sleek look, you would really expect this new Bürstner low-profile to be very expensive, but the German manufacturer is creating a whole new class of vehicles for the coming season, called premium economy.
That’s what the Signature is… a well-specced, great-looking motorhome priced from £73k. This is no budget model, either, as it has a double floor, Al-Ko low-frame chassis, optional large panoramic glass skylight above the cab and a stylish curvy GRP rear panel with full LED integrated lights. There is also a choice of alloy wheels.
There will initially be four models based on the Fiat Ducato, all under 3.5 tonnes, so anyone with only a Category B car licence can get behind the wheel, even if you plan to travel with four on board.
These will consist of floorplans with fixed single beds (SFT 7.0 as a two-berth and the SFT 7.1 with a drop-down bed that sits flush with the ceiling in the lounge) or an island bed at the back (two-berth SFT 7.4 and four-berth SFT 7.5). It’s not just about exterior style, as there are a couple of standout new features to take in on the inside, too.
First up is the lounge. As an option, one of the sofas pivots around to face forwards and the backrest then splits to create two seats.
The kitchen has a room divider that raises (at the touch of a button), part of the Premium Kitchen Pack, between kitchen and bed to reveal extra larder-style storage. The hob cover slides out to create a useful worktop spanning the aisle.
Opposite, the washroom has a wall with the basin attached that slides rearwards to cover over the toilet area, creating a super shower cubicle with no intruding wheelarches.
The interior is also going to be highly customisable, with 768 combinable elements, allowing you to mix and match woods, fabrics and lighting moods.

- Packed with innovation
- Premium features and style for less

Bürstner Habiton
A few years ago, we got introduced to the quirky Habiton design study, a microcamper with inflatable roof tent, awning and beds. With the new Habiton, the Mercedes base vehicle is bigger, but it has a new sliding washroom. This allows the 5.93m campervan to offer more bedroom space or more lounge depending on requirements. That’s because the washroom and the rear travel seats slide on a rail system.
In the washroom the basin folds out of the way to create a large shower and the toilet slides out from a recess under the bed.
The large panoramic rooflight above the cab (an option) creates a much more open feel in the lounge, which also has a wall-mounted table.
Like the Signature, this model comes with up to 96 different interior combinations with customisable woods, and fabrics. The model will be available in either two or four-wheel drive and can be ordered with an optional heated pop-top. There is also a 4x4 version, the Habiton X.
Key features
- Unique layout
- Best in class lounge area
- Innovative sliding washroom

Marking Bürstner’s 66-year anniversary, there is a new special edition range of five low profiles and two campervans.

The two campervan models get a reversing camera, air pressure sensors, 16in bicolour alloys, sliding door flyscreen and more. The 600 C offers the traditional fixed transverse double bed layout while the second model , the 644 C, has a rear U-shaped lounge.
