Brabus reveals €1.5 million luxury mega motorhome
Brabus, which is more famous for creating high-performance cars, has revealed its latest concept – a luxury liner motorhome costing a cool £1.25m
The new Brabus Big Boy 1200, which was created in cooperation with Belgium luxury motorhome manufacturer, STX Motorhomes, is a 12m-long coachbuilt motorhome with four electrically powered slide-out modules.
These allow the lounge and bedroom widths to be extended to 4.50m. Both are separated by a luxurious washroom.
A fully equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances is, of course, also on board.
As a result of the slide-outs, this new motorhome offers more than 30 square meters of living space.

The interior is crafted from leather, Alcantara and carbon and features equipment such as a global communication system via Starlink, WiFi router, two 43in 4K TVs, a PlayStation 5 game console and a high-end sound system.
Large double-glazed windows, which can be blacked out at any time with integral roller shades, in concert with the power skylights, create a light and pleasant ambience. This luxury motorhome is also equipped with climate control and an auxiliary heater.
Energy is provided by a hybrid system comprised of eight solar panels on the roof, a bank of batteries and a generator.
The exterior is made from aluminum-composite bodywork with carbon elements and LED lights on a galvanised steel chassis and thermally insulated aluminum sandwich-design. It is powered by a 12.8-litre, six-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine that produces an output of 390kW (523hp) and a peak torque of 2,600Nm (1,918lb-ft).
The three-axle chassis with two sets of dual tyres on each side at the rear is designed for outstanding comfort and safe handling. In order to maintain situational awareness of the vehicle and its surroundings, the motorhome is equipped with a 360-degree camera monitoring system.
There are hydraulic jacks to level the motorhome on uneven ground. Passengers get in and out via a bespoke door with electrically retractable stairs on the right side of the salon.
The retail price is suggested at €1,500,500, including 19% VAT (£1.25m).

In deployed position, the two slide-out modules in the bedroom create space for a double bed measuring 2.0m by 1.6m. A large wardrobe is integrated into the rear wall of the motorhome. The wall across from the bed integrates a desk and a 43in 4K TV.
As on the identical set in the salon, passengers can not only watch TV and play games on the PlayStation 5 console, but, thanks to satellite internet via Starlink, also watch streaming services and access the internet.
The lounge accommodates the owners and their guests on two comfortable couches covered with fine grey leather. Like the seats in the cab and the door panels, they feature quilting in Brabus ‘Triangle’ design.
Other sections of the interior are trimmed with black wood and black Alcantara to provide a contrast to the grey colour of parts of the interior and the high-quality wall-to-wall carpeting. Carbon trim strips add markedly sporty touches throughout the interior.
The kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and large fridge with freezer compartment. It also has a separate wine cooler and a coffee maker. The couch across from the kitchen can be become part of a dining room that also includes designer chairs with black and grey fabric upholstery and a large black table. This can alternatively be used as a comfortable mobile office workspace.
The luxurious washroom features natural stone tile, rainforest showerhead, toilet and sink.
Pleasant temperatures in the motorhome are ensured by an automatic climate control system and an auxiliary heater. Both systems can be powered either by hooking up to a 230V supply or by the eight solar panels and the on-board battery system.
The cab has two doors of its own and two comfortable seats upholstered with grey leather. Directly above the cab is a second bed, which is 1.6m wide and can be electrically lowered into position. Curtains close off the cab from the outside world and the lounge when needed.
